Have you ever heard the statement: Practice makes Perfect. Well that's one of my favorite statements. I believe this statement to be true, and it's one of the most powerful weapons one can have. You are as good as you practice, and how you practice will be how you will perform. Although ministry isn't performance; it's an assignment that should be taken very seriously. The way you prepare for the assignment will determine how you will deliver.
Mastering the Art of Practice is one of the greatest ministry keys to success. The Holy Spirit will pick up, where you left off in practice. What you do in secret, HE will reward you openly. Here's my spin on this scripture, how you study and prepare in secret, HE will show up for you openly. The Holy Spirit will bring to your remembrance what you studied, and when it's time to deliver the word, it will flow effortlessly from a place of confidence; authority, and power. Many people think style of delivery is the key to ministry success. They believe if they can stretch words; add a few cliches, and flow with the music they are doing well. That is not the key. The key is practice. Yes, I said practice.
Practice means to perform or exercise a skill repeatedly or regularly in order to improve or maintain one's proficiency. It's not my anointing that makes me stand out, or sets me apart. It's my practice, and my ability to keep on improving behind the scenes. What you see on stage, is what I see in my private space. I am learning to master specific skills in the word, and once I develop in the word, the confidence is there when I am asked to stand on a stage. The key to supernatural doors being opened, is how you develop in the text when no one is looking. Once you master this art, as you break the text, you are well on your way to be used by GOD that will go beyond your comprehension.
Break the Text.
